It is not suitable for keyboards or mice that require their own driver, however can be used with both standard and wireless USB mice and keyboards. This Extender is a two part hardware solution comprising a transmitter that connects directly to your computer and a receiver that connects to the USB HID device. Cat.5 or higher network patch cable (not included) is required to connect the two units together.  A power supply for the receiver unit ensures uninterrupted electricity supplies.
